2011 King Estate Tower Club BBQ
This year’s sold-out Tower Club BBQ aimed to please with sumptuous Northwest cuisine, great wine and a special performance by band Five Guys Named Moe of Portland, Oregon. The menu featured strawberry glazed northwest salmon, tangy BBQ smoked chicken, northwest potato salad, wild rice with local mushrooms, Tobi’s famous sweet corn bread, grilled zucchini, and assorted estate baked goods and fresh fruit.

‘Dishing Up Oregon’ Release Party
Join King Estate and other local chefs, artisans, winemakers and brewers at Nostrana Restaurant in Portland for the release of author Ashley Gartland’s book Dishing Up Oregon. This event is free and open to the public.
Visitor Center Closed for Private Event
The King Estate Visitor Center, which encompasses our restaurant and tasting bar, will close at 3:00 PM on Monday, October 17th for a private event.

Our organic certification was granted by Oregon Tilth, one of the strictest certifying agencies in the country. We have also been inspected and certified by Salmon-Safe, which recognizes that our farming inputs and practices have no negative impact on salmon and other aquatic life. This is of great importance here at King Estate because the natural springs that begin on our property flow to the Siuslaw river, and some are key tributaries.
To increase awareness of this fish-friendly certification we have partnered with the non-profit Salmon-Safe organization to bring you this exciting contest. All you have to do is pledge to sip Salmon-Safe wine and choose wild instead of farmed fish. You’ll be entered to win a year long membership in the King Estate Tower Club and a year’s supply of wild Bristol Bay salmon delivered right to your door.
