Ueda-Morgan Wedding
Last September 4th, my family and I celebrated our daughter’s wedding at King Estate. It was a perfect day, at a beautiful setting, for the happiest of occasions. From the moment we decided to have our wedding at the winery, we experienced nothing but professional, experienced and kind people.
The process began with a simple phone call to Autumn Brown, the special event coordinator. We arranged a meeting to see the venue. There was an immediate rapport with her and I knew from the start this was going to be an easy process. After deciding on location, the next steps in planning each and every detail became a pleasurable and fun experience. Nothing was ever stressful, because I trusted Autumn and her staff to do exactly what they said they would do. I never had to micro-manage the decisions we made for the food, wine and cake. I knew the tents and table set-up would be perfect and they were. Our meeting with Toby, the Estate baker was great. We were able to sample the various options in a fun, delicious way. We also had a tasting of the appetizer choices, which helped us make our decision. Autumn was always available for immediate responses to questions, via email or phone. She made us feel as if we were the first and only wedding at the winery. We felt special and that’s how every bride should feel. The week before our wedding, due to a schedule issue, Autumn had to turn our event over to Catherine Davidson, her assistant. In a matter of days, she was totally in charge and gave me a feeling of complete confidence. Although we missed Autumn, we were so grateful to Cathy for everything she did on the day of the wedding.
I was able to enjoy every second of Jaime’s wedding. I never had to wonder if something was getting done or someone would remember to do something. It was all taken care of. I never had to look around for Cathy….she was always there. The venue looked gorgeous, the food was delicious, the wine was appreciated by our guests, and the entire experience was ideal.
I thank each person who was involved in our wedding. From Autumn and Cathy, to Toby and all the wait people, to the groundskeeper, who help create a gorgeous setting for a joyful occasion.

Thanks to Autumn and her incredible team, our wedding at King Estate was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a more breathtakingly beautiful venue, gracious and professional staff or flawlessly executed event.
Throughout the entire planning process, rehearsal and wedding day, we never once doubted that we were in good hands. The King Estate employees were not only professional and proficient, they were so much fun. They made us and our guests feel pampered and completely at ease. The staff truly went above and beyond with their impeccable attention to detail: candles were relit before we even realized they had gone out, wine glasses were never empty and, when it started to sprinkle after dinner, they made the transition indoors seamless. Our guests never knew it was unintentional.
The kitchen staff also far exceeded our expectations. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, every entrée was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The cake was stunning and tasted as good as it looked. The servers and bartenders were incredibly knowledgeable about the food and wine and provided each guest with the personalized service you would expect from a five-star restaurant.
Our guests still rave that our wedding was the most beautiful and expertly executed one they have ever attended – and we wholeheartedly agree. We could not have selected a more perfect venue for our wedding, nor could we have asked for a more incredible team to make it happen.

Thank you so much for all your help, suggestions and flexibility! You were a pleasure to work with and you helped me out tremendously. I had a wonderful time planning my wedding and was even happier to see it turn out exactly as I hoped it would. My friends and families fell in love with the vineyard. People who never drink wine fully enjoyed the KE wine and I think now may have changed their drink of choice. Please pass on my thanks to the staff as well. They were incredibly helpful and even helped us clean everything up at the end of the night which helped us out tremendously!

Eugene Public Library: Booked for the Evening
The 2009 Booked for the Evening event that was held on Saturday, August 29, 2009 at King Estate was a tremendous success. It promised to be a wonderful evening of great food, with superb King Estate wine pairings, sparkling conversation and jazz and pop music to lift the spirits, and it was. The Eugene Public Library Foundation Board could not have asked for a better venue than, King Estate, to create an evening that proved to be worth “booking”.

We want to thank you for an outstanding job. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch. You communicated effectively with my brother and the rest of the wedding party, and gave Ashley and I the careful attention we needed throughout the night. While we were pulled in many directions at once, at every step, your calm and poise brought much needed stability to the night. You and your staff did a great job. On behalf of Ashley and our entire families, I like to thank you all. It was the greatest night of our life, and one that we will remember until we are old and gray.

Ross-Sternbach Wedding
The “can do” spirit that seems to suffuse throughout the winery was evident in Jen’s (and, later, Autumn’s) refusal to say no to any of our requests. (“You want us to provide the flowers? No problem. Get a stage set up for the ceremony? No problem. Need a vegetarian/vegan/kosher meal for a guest? We’re on it.”) In addition to Jen and Autumn, special mention has got to go to your dessert chef (whose name escapes me) and especially to Michael, for turning what could have been just a wedding meal into a culinary experience that people are still talking about. I simply cannot imagine a better experience in planning our wedding, nor any way the actual wedding day could have been improved upon.

Bach Festival Gala Dinner
A warm summer evening on the terrace at King Estate was the perfect setting for the Oregon Bach Festival’s Closing Night Gala. Every detail was handled to perfection by the staff at King Estate. It was such a successful evening, we have decided to make it an annual event! Thank you!
