Join us on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22nd, one week before the Eugene Marathon, for a scenic 5K run through the rolling hills of our certified organic vineyards. Fingers crossed for beautiful weather like last year, but as is the way in Oregon, this event is going on RAIN OR SHINE.

Wondering what to expect? When you arrive at the estate, parking attendants will direct you to an open space. The race will begin at 9AM and end at the King Estate Vineyard Pavilion. Check the course map for route information. Concessions will open at 7:30am and close at 1:00pm. The King Estate culinary team has put together a variety of delicious menu items to fuel your appetite before and after the race.
Last year’s inaugural Wine Country Run was a big success (check the video) but we did note several areas where we could improve things for our participants. Improvements include an earlier start time, more bathrooms, and additional water tables and coolers at each water station. After some bottle-necking at concessions last year we’ve added two additional checkout lines.
The Restaurant and Tasting Bar will be open on race day from 11am to 8pm. We urge those wishing to dine following the race to make advance reservations. Contact the concierge at 541-942-9874.
