King Estate 2006 Signature Pinot Gris
Excellent Pinot Gris, in a full, supple style. It is crisp and long on the palate, and persistent in the finish, tasting of pink grapefruit, pear, roasted nut, and lemon peel.

King Estate 2006 Signature Pinot Gris
This sunny young wine leads with aromas of ripe apple spiced with mace, accented with a touch of green herb. On the palate it's as fresh as white wine gets, with a succulent mid palate that's leavened, elegantly, with a fine, talc-like minerality.

WHAT LINDA'S BEEN DRINKING THIS MONTH...
November through spring is West Coast Dungeness crab season, when we crack the shells over a newspaper-covered table and eat with our hands. The crab is washed down with fresh, inexpensive white wine, and the slightly rich yet crisp King Estate 2006 Pinot Gris from Oregon was a great match, its subtle sweetness mirroring that of the crab.

King Estate 2006 Signature Pinot Gris
Summer grass and light citrusy notes on the nose introduce a medium-weight wine with plenty of apple, pineapple, and grapefruit flavors on a round frame. Lively, yet not lightweight, this Gris offers a bright citrusy finish, with a touch of tangerine. An easy-drinking picnic wine, ideal for a platter of antipasti.
