1993 Signature Pinot Noir
Winemaker's Notes
This brilliant, deep garnet wine displays intense black cherry, raspberry, and vanilla aromas with hints of tobacco and sweet oak spice. In the mouth, this beautifully balanced Pinot Noir's smooth entry is filled with rich, complex cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and spice flavors.
The wine is medium-bodied, and well-integrated oak provides an additional layer of spice mid-palate. Spicy chocolate and soft tannins marry with layers of cherry and berry fruit to provide a long, intense finish. Suggested retail: $18.00

Growing Season
Oregon weather was warm during the bloom period and the fruit set was exceptional.
The summer was unseasonably cool and cloudy which significantly prolonged fruit maturation.
Fortunately, the fall was hot and dry and the fruit reached full maturity, and was harvested before the fall rains started. The long maturation period produced fruit with excellent depth and complexity of flavor.
