Shipping & Returns

Shipping Information

All wines purchased at the winery or through KingEstate.com will be processed and shipped within five business days. We ship wine Monday through Wednesday. Shipping schedules vary depending on the destination of the order and the service selected. During extreme heat or cold, ground orders will ship by temperature-controlled trucks. Temperature-controlled ground shipments depart our winery twice per month on a climate-controlled truck to a local FedEx hub. Please expect delivery five to 14 days from the date you placed your order. If you would like a specific delivery date please call 541.942.9874 or email TowerClub@kingestate.com

Order by 3 pm PST Monday and Tuesday and your order will ship the next business day.

Canceled Orders

Any order that you wish to cancel must be canceled before the shipment leaves our winery.

A 15% restocking fee will be applied to all canceled orders.

Damaged or Flawed Wine

King Estate Winery guarantees the quality and integrity of our wine. On occasion, bottles can be subject to damage or flaws. We will replace any bottle of wine that is flawed that was purchased directly from our winery (by phone, email or in-person) or at kingestate.com. If you feel you have opened an unsatisfactory bottle, please save the contents and email us promptly at TowerClub@kingestate.com or call us at 541.942.9874.

Damages may occur in transit. Please inspect all wine within your order as soon as your package arrives. Should anything be broken during shipment, please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we may open a claim with the shipping carrier and replace your damaged wine as quickly as possible. Shipping damage claims made after 30 days from the date of delivery are not eligible for replacement.

Wine damaged from adverse weather conditions is not eligible for a refund or replacement. Weather damage may include leakage, freezing and/or corks pushing. Please be sure to check the shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order and select a later date if necessary.

Wines purchased through retailers must be returned to them. Wines ordered in error, by law, are not eligible for return.

Shipping & Delivery Requirements

We want your wine to arrive in the same condition that it left the winery. All wines are stored at optimal temperatures and hand packed before leaving our winery. We utilize multiple carrier types in order to deliver your wine in the most protected way possible.

We recommend orders be shipped to a business address for prompt delivery. We cannot guarantee the condition of any wine if delivery is not made on the first delivery attempt. Orders that are not delivered on the initial attempt may be held in a facility that is not temperature controlled.

Upon the third missed delivery attempt, orders will be held for up to five business days and, if not picked up, your shipment will be returned to King Estate. To claim wine at a FedEx location, you must show identification with the recipient’s name and tracking number. Federal law prohibits change of delivery address during transit and the order must be returned to the sender for reshipment. Additional full rate shipping charges will apply. All customers (members and non-members) are subject to the fees.

Federal law requires a signature be obtained from an individual over the age of 21 for all wine shipments. Notes with a signature left for the delivery companies cannot be accepted as a replacement for an individual signing for the shipment. By placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom the delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification.

Due to state laws we are currently unable to ship wine to the following states: AL, AR, CT, DE, IN, KY, LA, MS, NJ, OH, RI, UT, VT.

Hawaii and Wisconsin require the date of birth for both purchaser and recipient. You will be prompted to fill this information out when you place an order.

Arizona, Georgia, Kansas, and Michigan require the date of birth for the purchaser. You will be prompted to fill this information out when you place an order.

We are unable to ship alcohol to PO boxes or APO/FOP addresses. If you would like to ship to a hotel, please contact us.

Pickup at Winery

Orders may be placed through the website, by phone or email and then picked up at the winery. Your order will be ready for pickup during regular business hours once you receive an email confirmation (not receipt). You will be asked to sign a release that acknowledges you have taken the wine into your possession.
