2017 King Estate Pfeiffer Pinot Gris

2017 King Estate Pfeiffer Pinot Gris

Tasting Notes

In the glass the wine presents a delicate pale straw color. The aromatics on the nose – grapefruit and pineapple – are also apparent on the palate, along with other fruit flavors of pear, guava, key lime and peach. This wine makes a smooth entrance and is notable for its well-balanced fruit and acidity, all culminating in a long finish. Enjoy now and until at least 2027.

Vineyard Notes

Pfeiffer Vineyard and King Estate have a winemaking collaboration dating back to 1992. In fact, Pfeiffer has sold its grapes to no other winery for a quarter century. Situated in a unique coastal microclimate, this vineyard produces wines with clean, crisp texture and fruit-forward flavors.
